Welcome to the website for the Revel Minibus Service. The name relates to Newbold Revel near Brinklow, Warwickshire, which was once a stately home, the Revel name being used for the surrounding villages as a loose description of the area. Centred in the picturesque & historical village of Monks Kirby, which has excellent access to the Fosse way & Watling street, M's 6, 69 & 1, making outward journeys extremely quick to virtualy anywhere in Warwickshire, Liecestershire, Coventry, West-Midlands & Northamptonshire. Established this April by me, Hugh Franklin, to fill a void in rural transport at odd hours & short notice especially with the local pub trade, Hotels & conference centres in mind, it naturaly covers the villages of... Brinklow, Easenhall, Harborough Magna, Pailton, Wolvey, Monks Kirby, Willey, Coombe Abbey, Ansty, Shilton, Barnacle, Bulkington, Church Lawford, Kings Newnham, Long Lawford ,Ryton & Stretton on Dunsmore, Newbold, & Churchover. without the "out of town" supplement (typicaly 33%) charged by Coventry & Rugby firms. I have many years of experience in the bus & coach industry as a mechanic & driver, & since last May have been driving 16 seat minibuses for Allens Taxis in Coventry (for whom I drove as a student) so I know this business inside out allowing you to leave your worries back home! Unlike most Taxi operators, fares are calculated on the basis of estimated time for journeys or duration of bookings, usually giving more competetive prices. Doorstep drop offs are part of the service, so your return from a late night out is safe & hassle free! Pickup points can be agreed in advance or altered by text should your plans change (subject to other booking commitments). Presently one vehicle is offered with seats for 8 passengers, 6 in an optional conference seating arrangement with 2 additinal seats in the front. It has air conditioning, massive luggage space and C.D. player for your choice of music. (bring your own disc!) The intention is to purchase a 16 seater luxury vehcle in the near future subject to demand. Shuttle work is a speciality should you be organising an event, conference, wedding, party or even relocating your workplace! Airport transfers, evenings out for corporate visitors, transport to & from concerts & other large venues and feeder work from Hotels to Conferences are all specialities. Few bookings are ever identical, so with my depth of knowledge all your requirements will be fully discussed prior to making a firm booking. I am always contactable by phone, but when driving am obviously unable to check prior bookings etc, in such cases, a text message confirming dates & times is a must!
